Dog outing 1-2 times a day occasionally

Hello,
Quetzali, a small 7-year-old Xoloitzcuintli dog, sometimes needs to be taken out once or twice a day. She is not a great walker, but since she hasn’t been raised in a home, she sometimes has difficulty holding it in. She is very shy with people she doesn’t know and may have trouble allowing them to approach, but she does not bite.
